Wayne Country Heath Department has announced another Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic this week, this time with 200 shots.
The next clinic will be from 3-7 p.m. Wednesday, March 31 at the former Elder-Beerman store, 601 E. Main St., Richmond.
This clinic will be open only to those with appointments. Walk-ins will not be accepted.
About 640 vaccines were distributed Saturday at the health department’s special event offering the Johnson & Johnson shots. That vaccine only requires one dose, while the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines require two appointments.
Appointments can be made by visiting www.ourshot.in.gov or by calling 211 and asking for help in scheduling an appointment at the Wayne County Health Department’s Johnson and Johnson Clinic.
March 31 is also the first day Indiana will open eligibility to anyone 18 or older for the Johnson & Johnson vaccine and for the Moderna vaccine.
Anyone 16 and older is eligible for the Pfizer vaccine. The Reid Health site located at Kuhlman Center on Wayne County Fairgrounds has the Pfizer vaccine. Appointments can be scheduled for that clinic by visiting www.ourshot.in.gov.
