Ada Mae Million Darrah, age 75, of Centerville, Indiana, died Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at Reid Health.

Born August 2, 1946, in East Bernstadt, Kentucky, to Luther and Edith Blevins Million, Ada moved to this area as a child. She worked as a seamstress at Nettle Creek Sewing, had a day care in her home, and worked at Heritage Nursing Home. Ada was a member of the Nazarene Church, she loved music, cooking, her garden, yard work, and her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Joseph Darrah to whom she was married April 1, 2015; children, Renee (Robert) Wooten of Fenton, Michigan, Jennifer Newby of Centerville, Jason (Elizabeth) Newby of Salinas, California, Leigh Ann (Burton) Barber of Greens Fork, Indiana, and Summer (Sarah) Neeley of Muncie, Indiana; grandchildren, Brandon
Ingram, Justin Ingram, Tyler Jordan, Mallory Newby, Erin Newby, Tristan Newby, Rebecca Barber, and Clayton Barber; step-daughters, Anette (Chris) Sullivan of Cambridge City, Indiana and Lisa (Lonnie) Creech of Richmond; brothers, Gene (Denise) Million, Billy Ray (Theresa) Million, and Denise (Carol) Million; nieces; nephews; and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Margie Sue Moore; brothers, Ralph Million and Edward Million.

Visitation for Ada Mae Darrah will be from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home with Pastor Andrew Phipps officiating. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.
