Wayne County Emergency Management Agency has sent an alert of a high wind warning until 4 a.m. Sunday

* WHAT…Southwest winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 55 mph expected.

* WHERE…Portions of East Central and Southeast Indiana, Northern Kentucky and Central, Southwest and West Central Ohio.

* WHEN…From 8 PM this evening to 4 AM EST Sunday.

* IMPACTS…Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines. Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Winds will increase again with the passage of a cold front this evening. Strong winds aloft will mix down to the ground.
