ALERT CANCELED for 2-year-old girl missing from Cambridge City

Shortly after a statewide Silver Alert was declared Sunday night in hopes of finding a 2-year-old girl missing from Cambridge City, the alert was canceled.
The alert was sent to media via email at 9:41 p.m. Sunday. Indiana State Police said the alert was canceled at 11:22 p.m. as requested by Cambridge City Police Department, which was the investigating agency.
“Thank you for your assistance in locating Zoey!” Cambridge City Police Department posted on its Facebook page shortly after the cancellation was announced.
Cambridge City police have been investigating the disappearance of Zoey Dawn Nash, a white female who is 2 feet tall, weighs 40 pounds and has red hair and blue eyes.
Zoey has been missing from Cambridge City and was last seen at 1 p.m. Sunday, March 24.
She was last seen wearing a pink jacket, pink unicorn shirt, pink unicorn pants and gray unicorn boots. She has a scar below her left eye. Police said Zoey might be in the company of Jeffery Hancock, a 34-year-old white male.
He is 6 feet tall, weighs 165 pounds and has brown hair and blue eyes. He is possibly driving a dark green 2001 Pontiac Grand Am GT with Indiana plate 976RCJ.
When the alert was announced, police said Zoey was believed to be in extreme danger and could require medical assistance.
