As of 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 29, Reid Health has 65 lab-confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 in its eight-county service area. The hospital currently has 44 patients in containment areas.
Reid has now submitted 750 tests for processing. Reid recently stopped providing negative test results because of a relatively high number of false negatives being show in studies.
As of April 29, Indiana has 17,182 cases. There have been 964 deaths in the state, according to Indiana State Department of Health.
