Barbara J. Portzline, 77, of Richmond passed away October 3, 2019 at Arbor Trace after a brief illness.
She was born August 8, 1942, in Richmond to J. Howard and Agnes Elliott McConaha and lived here all her life. She was a beloved member of First English Lutheran Church, where she was Servant Core Coordinator. She formerly served as the President of the Dental Association Auxiliary.
Survivors include her three daughters Jill Ann (Fred) Daniels of New Castle, Wendi Dawn (Brian) Claywell of Richmond, and Kimberly Dawn Portzline of Golden, Colorado, four grandchildren Trent J. (Tiffany) Sartain, Alex Michael (Jamie) Crawford, Evelyn Lauren Williams, and Benjamin A. May, one brother William Howard (Lynnae) McConaha, one sister Patricia Jean (Jan) Elsea, nieces and nephews, and leaves behind many friends.
Her husband, Dr. Jack L. Portzline D.D.S., died January 12, 2010. She is also preceded in death by her parents.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday October 19, 2019 at First English Lutheran Church with Pastor John Walker officiating. Inurnment will be in the Prayer Chapel of First English Lutheran Church. Friends may call from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Saturday October 19, 2019 at the church.
