RICHMOND, Ind. – Belinda L. Cohee Kilgus, age 54, of Richmond, Indiana, died Friday, December 28, 2018, at LifeCare Hospitals of Dayton.

Belinda was born on March 26, 1964, in Omaha, Nebraska. She had lived in this community since 1973. Belinda was a 1982 graduate of Northeastern High School, where she was active in gymnastics and show choir. She was a data analysis specialist at Centerstone for 24 years. Belinda also worked at Earlham College for three years. She was an active member of Christ Jesus Community Church. Belinda was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with her family.

Survivors include her husband of 34 years, David Kilgus, to whom she was married on August 25, 1984; daughter, Nicole Kilgus of Richmond; son, Joseph Kilgus (fiancée, Meredith Knipp) of Centerville, Indiana; grandson, Johnathan; mother, Sarah “Sally” Dickerson of Richmond; sister, Sheree Cohee of Muncie, Indiana; brother, Frank Dickerson of Richmond; half sister, Melissa Cooper of Miami, Florida; aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; cousins; and many friends, including her dog, Sabre.

She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Hollie Dickerson, who died November 21, 2001, and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Grace M. and Joseph L. Kilgus.

Visitation for Belinda L. Cohee Kilgus will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, January 4, 2019, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. Funeral service will follow at 8:00 p.m. Friday, January 4, 2019, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home with her mother, Rev. Sally Dickerson officiating.
