Beth Ann Thompson, 66, a native of Connersville, died July 1, 2020, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Beth Ann was born September 8, 1953 to James Franklin and Juanita Short Thompson in Connersville. She attended the local area schools. Beth Ann was an avid cook and enjoyed traveling to some of her favorite spots like Wyoming, Yellowstone and Branson Missouri. She loved sewing and reading, but what brought her the most joy was being a homemaker, raising her children and spending time with her grandsons Jaxson, Grant and Gage who all were the light of her life.
Beth Ann is survived by her children: Jessica James of Indianapolis, Amy Henderson and her spouse, Joe of Flat Rock, Indiana; Todd James of Taylorsville, Indiana; brothers: James K. Thompson-Sanders of Indianapolis; sisters: Nancy Kubalanza of Avon, Indiana, Susan E. Kehl of Indianapolis; grandson: Jaxson Luke Jordan; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Beth Ann is preceded in death by her brothers: Terry Thompson and Ronald H. Thompson; sister: Cheryl A. Hill.
Funeral services for Beth Ann will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Wednesday July 8, 2020, at Showalter Blackwell Long Funeral Home, Myers Chapel, Connersville. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Dale Cemetery, section F. Memorial contributions may be made at the funeral home to the Liberty Acres United.
