Bobby Borden, 80, of Lynn, Ind., passed away peacefully Wednesday (Dec. 12, 2018) at Reid Hospital.
He was born Feb. 5, 1938, in Wayne County to Maggie and Omer Borden.
He attended Greens Fork School and was a farmer most of his life. He attended Methodist Church in Greens Fork. Later he always was faithful to Dr. Charles Stanley after the death of Gladys Wilson. He also was a caretaker for Gladys and Howard Wilson until they passed away. He then went to live with his sister Ethel to care for her until she passed away. He moved to the Lynn, Ind., area in 2013.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by sister and brother-in-law Ethel and Cecil Whittmore and brother-in-law Glen Johnson; brothers Clarence, Vearl, Earl and George (Bill). He is survived by sisters and brother-in-law Mary and Warren Dailey and Georgia Johnson and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and friends.
Graveside services will be conducted for the family in Crown Hill Cemetery in Centerville, Ind., on Monday, Dec. 17, at 11 a.m. Brian Richmond will officiate. Riggle – Waltermann Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
