Bryan Alan Hacker, 60, of New Castle went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 4, 2021.

He was born on June 13, 1960 in Straughn, IN, a son of Kenneth and Sue Nell (Strange) Hacker.

Bryan graduated from New Castle Chrysler High School and played trumpet in the Trojan Marching Band. He furthered his education at Ball State University. Bryan was a very skilled draftsman and carpenter. He would spend hours meticulously hand drawing blue print plans for various projects. Bryan enjoyed volunteering in his community and participated in projects with the Baker Park and Trojan Marching Band. He also loved church and attended faithfully and served where needed. He was a master story teller and often shared heart felt stories when spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Bethany Dawn (husband: Joseph) Wilson, Nathaniel Todd (wife: Kielly) Hacker, Matthew Alan Hacker and Janella Elise (husband: Jonathon) Rose; grandchildren, Kelvin, Micah, Lincoln, Harvie Sue, Martie, Kenley, Averie and Delliah; siblings, Cheryl Bailey, Chris Hacker, Kim Werking and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Sue Nell Hacker and brother-in-law, Dale Bailey.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be offered to American Heart or American Diabetes Associations.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, June 10, 2021 at Sproles Family Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Lewisville Cemetery.

Friends may call from 5 – 8 pm, Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at the funeral home.
