Carl Bradley “Brad” Lindsey Jr., age 76, of Richmond, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 1, 2022.

Brad was born August 22, 1945, in Dayton, Ohio, to Carl Bradley and Iva Linebaugh Lindsey Sr. He was raised in a military family and was a 1964 graduate of Frankfurt American High School in Germany.

Brad joined the US Army in 1965 and served until 1969, with a tour of duty in Vietnam and Thailand, as well as serving stateside in Massachusetts and Virginia. He was a graduate of Sinclair Community College, and worked at Second National Bank, Reid Memorial Hospital, and USA Trucking. Brad was a member of VFW Post #1108, and American Legion Post #315, and Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter #777.

Survivors include his sons, Allen (Nicole) Stinson and Vance Stinson of Richmond, and Ty (Amy) Stinson of Schertz, Texas; grandchildren, Shannon, Brittney, Colton, Amber, Amara, and Lily-Sue; numerous great and great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Catherine Grimes, Lois Martin, Kenneth (Michelle) Lindsey, Roger (Lisa) Lindsey, Karen Lindsey, and Janice (Tom) Jervis; uncle, Harry (Marianne) Linebaugh, aunt, Donna Linebaugh; nieces; nephews; cousins; and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife Rita H. Stinson Lindsey, and his parents.

Visitation for Carl Bradley “Brad” Lindsey Jr. will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Thursday, July 7, 2022, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, July 7, 2022, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home. Burial will be in Dayton National Cemetery, Dayton, Ohio.
