Carlyss “Carly” Ann Soulier, 67, Greenfield, passed away Monday, July 12, 2021 at her residence. Carly was born September 9, 1953 in Richmond, IN to Carlisle and Edith (Livelsburger) Soulier. She is a 1972 graduate of Richmond High School. Following graduation, Carly entered and served in the U.S. Army at Fort Benjamin, Indianapolis; Fort Meade, Maryland; and overseas in Japan. Carly worked as a letter carrier for the Nora/Castleton area for 35 years and retired in 2011.

Throughout high school, Carly was an all-around athlete. She was compared to and even nicknamed “Pistol Pete.” She enjoyed watching the Detroit Tigers and Detroit Lions as well as IU basketball and football. Carly enjoyed word searches, game shows, reading her bible, and tending to her perfectly manicured lawn. Carly was a member of Little Flower Catholic Church for over 25 years and also a member of St. Michael Catholic Church.

Carly will be missed by her sisters, Roylene (Dave) Rosso and Anna Lawson; brother Stanley “Mark” Soulier; nephew Adam Soulier, niece Ashley Reece and her children Ian and Kayla Hersey; nephew Donald Lawson; special friend Penny Loman; Penny’s daughters, Stephanie Thorsen and her children Jacob and Ryder; and Stacy (Mike) Zoller.

Carly was preceded in death by her parents; sister Jamie Figuera; brother Gordon Soulier; and nephew Jason Gray.

Visitation for Carly will be Tuesday, July 20, 2021 from 9am-11am at St. Michael Catholic Church, 519 Jefferson Blvd, Greenfield, IN 46140 with the Mass of Christian Burial immediately following. Burial will be in Park Cemetery, Greenfield.
