Carrol Roberta Fegan

Carrol Roberta Fegan, 87, Cambridge City, passed away on October 24, 2021 at Rosebud Village in Richmond, Indiana.  Carrol was born in Abington Township, Wayne County, Indiana on January 18, 1934 to Orville and Nova Julia (Roller) Study.  Carrol graduated from Centerville High School with the class of 1952.  She married Russell G. Fegan on November 24, 1955 at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church in Cambridge City.  Carrol has made her home in Cambridge City since her marriage to Russ and worked as a telephone operator for General Telephone in Richmond for 30 years. She also worked at the Richmond Target store.  Carrol was a former member of the St. Elizabeth Catholic Church. Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Russell Fegan; 3 sons, Russell L. (Barbara) of Milton/Cincinnati, Dan (Kenna) of Cambridge City and Patrick of Kinston, N. Carolina; grandsons, Russell T., Ryon, Ambrose and Nathaniel; step grandson, Chris Jackson; granddaughters, Kacee Bishop, Kenzie Heuchan and Karlie Dillon; 4 great grandsons; 5 great granddaughters; sister, Dorthy Grey; many nieces and nephews.

Thomas G. Allen

Beloved father and grandfather, Thomas G. Allen, 74, of Morgantown, IN, passed away peacefully at 11:33 a.m. Sunday, October 24, 2021 surrounded by family. Thomas was born in Hagerstown, IN on September 12, 1947 to Voyle M. Allen and Annabelle Harris Allen. He was a graduate of the University of Kentucky with a degree in Architecture. While there, he met the love of his life, Susan May Scholl. The two married on January 20, 1973.

Harriet Louise Clark

Harriet Louise Clark, age 78, of Franklin, Indiana, died Thursday, October 14, 2021, at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis. Harriet was born on November 9, 1942, in Richmond, Indiana, to Joe Claire and Mary Elizabeth “Betty” Preston Sherrow. She graduated from Whitewater High School in Whitewater, Indiana. Survivors include her sons, Henry Thomas Clark (Penny) and John T. (Jennifer) Clark; grandchildren, Shailie Dawn, Elizabeth Louise (Evan Lattimore), Eliason Garrett, Madeline Roberta (Boone Smith), Chelsea Marian (Braylon Ellis), Lily Jakelyn, and several others, though not related, who called her “Mamaw”; great-grandchildren, Nora Lynn and Riley Mae Lattimore and Hollis James Ellis; brother, Carl Leroy Parrett; and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold T. “Garr” Clark; parents; and siblings, Calvin Lee “Bud” Sherrow, Joyce Joan Clapp, Carol Dean Miller, Charles Eugene Parrett, and Brenda Parrett.

Cathy Marie Spicer

Cathy Marie Spicer, 68, of Connersville, passed away Wednesday evening, October 20, 2021 at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis. She was born October 14, 1953 in Connersville, one of nine children of Estel and Joyce Feeback Marcum. In February of 2002, Cathy married Garland Spicer in Centerville, Indiana. Mr. Spicer survives.

Marsha Darlene Hagen

Marsha Darlene Hagen 63, of Richmond, passed away October 24, 2021, at Indiana University Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie. She was born March 21, 1958, in Richmond to Claude Cook and Lucille Brockman Caudle and lived in Richmond most of her life. She worked as a manager at Papa John’s; she traveled with Poor Jacks Amusements and worked in housekeeping at Knights Inn. She was a member of the Full Gospel Chapel. She is survived by her mother Lucille Caudle, daughter Dawn (Michael) Mills, four grandchildren Alex, Will, Tylor, Dylan, four sisters Debbie Radcliff of Weston, Ohio, Diana Sarten of Lynn, Vicky Ashcraft of Richmond, Laura “ Katie” (Tim) Wireman of Lynn, one brother Dennis Campbell of Farmland, several nieces and nephews.

Veronica Jay-Ceen Bell English

Veronica Jay-Ceen Bell English passed away on Tuesday, October 19, 2021. She was born in New Castle, Indiana on March 12, 1990. Around the age of 4, Veronica and her mother moved to Muncie, Indiana. She resided in Muncie for several years before moving to Indianapolis, Indiana with her mother and siblings. While living in Indianapolis, she attended Amy Beverland and Mary Castle Elementary Schools, IndyPendence Job Corp and Arlington High School where she was enrolled in Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC).

Karl Louis “Louie” Thomas

Karl Louis “Louie” Thomas, age 56, a New Castle resident, passed away Saturday, October 23, 2021 at Ball Hospital in Muncie. He was born April 29, 1965 in Greensburg, Indiana. He was a resident of Greensburg and New Castle all of his life and was a 1983 graduate of New Castle Chrysler High School. He had worked in the service department for Goodwin Dodge for many years. He was a NASCAR enthusiast and a fan of IU Sports, especially basketball.

James (Jim) D. Penticuff

James (Jim) D. Penticuff, age 58, was called home to Glory on October 21, 2021. A lifelong resident of New Castle, Jim was born January 20, 1963, the son of the late James O. and Doris Penticuff. Jim was a 1981 graduate on New Castle Chrysler High School and received his bachelor’s degree in 2005 from IU East. Jim was a former member of Southside Nazarene and a current member of Bethesda Worship Center, where he was very active in ministry and currently serving as the leader of men’s ministry. Jim’s spiritual gift was acts of service and he offered that gift freely any time he was presented with the opportunity to do so.

Donald Gene Stout

Donald Gene Stout, age 90, of Crystal River, Florida passed away peacefully September 25, 2021. He was a former resident of Fayette and Union County, Indiana. He was born in Alquina on March 22, 1931, to Morton and Catherine (Mong) Stout. He graduated from Connersville High School in 1949. After high school he was inducted on October 29, 1951, and he served in the Army 1st division (Big Red One) as infantryman until his discharge.

Judith Diane Morford

Judith Diane Morford, 71, of Connersville, passed away unexpectedly Monday morning, October 12, 2021 at her home. She was born September 10, 1950 in New Castle, Indiana, one of six children of Donald Wilson, Sr. and Martha Christine Corn Wilson. On September 1, 1990, she was married to Larry G. Morford of Connersville. Mr. Morford passed away September 17, 1999. Judith was currently employed for Sawyer’s Boot barn and had been a home healthcare aid for a number of years.
