Pamela Jane Toschlog

Pamela Jane Toschlog, age 70, of Richmond, Indiana, died Sunday, May 22, 2022, at Reid Health. Born June 23, 1951, in Hamilton, Ohio, to Richard and Evelyn F. Dorrel Sauerland, Pamela was a life-long resident of this area. She was a homemaker and farm wife, and enjoyed gardening, flowers, and knitting. Survivors include her husband, Gene Toschlog; children, Doug (Lori) Toschlog, Scott (Stephanie) Toschlog, Terry Toschlog, and Kimberly (Steve) Wurtsbaugh; grandchildren, Tyler, Darin, Austin, Brooklyn, Emily, Ryan, Abigail, and Madelyn (on the way); brother, Ricky Sauerland; sister, Robin Wigger; nieces; nephews; cousins; and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, and son, Greg Toschlog.

Joseph Raymond “Ray” Ferriell

Joseph Raymond “Ray” Ferriell, age 95, of Centerville, Indiana, died Sunday, May 22, 2022, at Reid Health. Born August 23, 1926, in Cleveland, Ohio, to William and Nettie Smith Ferriell, Ray lived in Centerville most of his life. He was a 1945 graduate of Centerville High School, served in the United States Army, and worked all his life as a farmer. Survivors include his wife of 74 years, Jeannine Ferriell, to whom he was married January 24, 1948; daughters, Rae Marie Ferriell-Woolpy of Richmond, Indiana, and Jane (Rick) Risinger of Westfield, Indiana; sons, Philip (Karen) Ferriell of Hagerstown, Indiana, and Mike (Teri) Ferriell of Greens Fork, Indiana; eleven grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; brother, Johnny Ferriell of Richmond; nieces; nephews; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Elizabeth Fudge; and brother, Edwin “Ed” Ferriell.

Thomas Francis Neuman

Thomas Francis Neuman, 63, a lifelong resident of Connersville, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, May 19, 2022 at his home. He was born July 1, 1958 in Connersville, one of eight children of William J. and Delores M. Metzger Neuman, and he was a 1977 graduate of Connersville High School. Thomas was employed at Visteon for over twenty years. He also greatly enjoyed farming at the family farm and helping out at Bruce Henry Farms.

Along with his family, he was a member of St. Gabriel Church.

Vera Adeline (Knipp) Vance

Vera Adeline (Knipp) Vance, 88, of Connersville, passed away at the home of her son, Steve, on May 19, 2022. She had been in failing health for the past few years. She was born July 17, 1933 in Milton, Indiana. She was one of four children born to Lester C. and Ruth M. (Kellam) Knipp and was a 1951 graduate of Centerville High School. On July 17, 1954, she was married in Connersville to Gwinn C. Vance.

Thomas Francis Neuman

Thomas Francis Neuman, 63, a lifelong resident of Connersville, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, May 19, 2022 at his home. James Logan Sexton

James Logan Sexton, 50, of New Castle passed away on the morning of Thursday, May 19, 2022 at Hancock Regional Health in Greenfield, Indiana. He was born on February 17, 1972 in New Castle, IN, a son of Dave Sexton and Maggie Stephens. James graduated from New Castle High School in 1991 where he played football for the Trojans. He was a member of the Knights of Pythias and worked for the City of New Castle for 20 years in many different positions. James enjoyed watching movies, shopping and spending time with family.

Freddie J. Isaacs

Freddie J. Isaacs, age 63, passed away at Reid Health on May 18, 2022.  He was born August 4, 1958, the son of Virgil and Anna Isaacs, in Richmond, Indiana. He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughters: Trish Isaacs and Candace Isaacs; grandchildren: Tyshon McDowell, Jahvon McDowell and Antron Mebane; a sister: Georgia Smoker; and a host of cousins. Mary Rose Sexton

Mary Rose Sexton, 86, of New Castle, IN passed away Thursday May 19, 2022, at Henry Community Health. She was born July 23, 1935, in Clinton, TN to the late Wiley and Lutricia (Holloway) Wright. Mary married the love of her life, Audney Sexton and spent over 40 years of marriage together until his passing. She worked as a waitress and as a school crossing guard. More than anything she loved spending time with her precious family, whom she loved dearly.

Gregory Dale Vaughn

Gregory Dale Vaughn, age 62, of Centerville, passed away peacefully Friday, May 20th, 2022 in his home surrounded by his wife, daughter, and puppies after a valiant battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife Kim Vaughn; his daughter Kaitlin Vaughn; his brother Gary Vaughn (Melanie); two pups Rylee and Zoey; and two grand-pups, Carson and Kiwi. To know Greg was to, without a doubt, love him. His dry humor, genuine laughter, and kind soul will leave a hole in the hearts of many. Greg was born on July 23rd, 1959 in Richmond, Indiana to the late Doris and Gene Vaughn and is also preceded in death by his brother Gaylen.

Michael Eugene Hensley

Michael Eugene Hensley, age 68, passed away at Reid Health on May 18, 2022.  He was born December 5, 1953, the son of Robert and Dovie Hensley, in Clinton, Tennessee. Michael had worked at Dixon’s Auto Trim for approximately 25 years doing upholstery on auto interiors.  He enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, dirt track racing and his grandchildren and great grandchildren.  He was known by friends as Papaw Mike. He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter: Angi Burdette (Jason); two grandchildren: Sierra Powers Duarte (Zachary), New Paris, OH, and Drake Hensley (Ashley), Hagerstown, IN; seven great grandchildren: Zeke, Kyler, Zacary, Ryder, Harmony, Elizabeth and Amirah; two sisters: Sheila Johnson (Tony) and Brenda Bowers; three brothers: Eddie, Benny and Bobby (Imogene); many nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends including special friends: Donnie “Coon Dog” and Claudia Middleton. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by a son: Johnathan Hensley; grandson: Jake Calico; sister: Linda Shepherd; brother-in-law: Dewey Shepherd; and a brother: Danny Hensley.
