Mr. James R. “Jimmy” Fields, 61, of Centerville, passed away unexpectedly to be with the Lord on Monday, July 24. He was born in Richmond, Indiana on July 4, 1956 to Robert E. and Joyce Hale Fields, both of whom preceded him in death. He was a 1975 graduate of Northeastern High School. Jimmy recently retired from Reid Health after 40 years of service. He was a member of Galilean Baptist Church in Centerville.

CENTERVILLE, Ind. – Jeremy Lee Stone, age 30, of Centerville, Indiana, died Sunday, July 23, 2017, at his home. Jeremy was born on May 16, 1987, in Batesville, Indiana, to Larry Stone and Donna McDaniel Stone. He loved his job as a professional picker, traveling around the country with his dad. Jeremy was a long-time member of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Wayne County and Camp Guy.

CAMBRIDGE CITY – Raymond “Doug” Hook, 69, passed away Friday morning July 28, 2017 at Ambassador Health Care in Centerville, Indiana. A son of the late Henry and Mildred L. (Renchen) Hook, Doug was born in Maysville, Kentucky on February 1, 1948. He attended Orangeburg High School in Orangeburg, Kentucky. Doug has lived most of his life in the Cambridge City/ Western Wayne community. He retired from M.E.G. in Cambridge City after eighteen years of service as a brake press operator.

Steven L. Hornung

CONNERSVILLE – Steven L. Hornung, 56, passed away at his home in Connersville early Tuesday morning, July 25, 2017. A son of David Lee and Charlene (Mercier) Hornung, Steve was born in Connersville on May 22, 1961. He was a lifelong Connersville resident and graduate of Connersville High School with the class of 1979 where he was active in the Future Farmers of America. Following high school Steve enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and was honorably discharged in 1983 with the rank of corporal. He then completed the electrical program at Ivy Tech and became a certified electrician.
