Christopher V. Parker, 52, of Richmond passed away September 6, 2019, in his home.
He was born October 21, 1966, in Indianapolis to Larry Vastine and Dolores Fix and had lived in California before moving to Richmond several years ago.
Christopher was extremely involved in animal rescue and the care of abused/orphaned animals.
He is survived by his mother Dolores, his husband of 23 years Robert Parker, three sisters Theresa (Charlie) Joiner, Kathy (Monnie) Berg, Vanessa Vastine, two brothers Steven Parks, Joseph Parks, several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father and his grandparents George and Mary F. Kaser.
Memorial contributions may be given to HELP the Animals, the ASPCA or Animal Care Alliance.
