CONNERSVILLE, Ind. – Clara Alice Kaucher, age 64, formerly of Wayne County, Indiana, died Wednesday, December 24, 2018, at her home.
Born April 30, 1954, in Richmond, Indiana, to Carl Harvey and Norma Joann Wissler Kaucher, Clara was a lifelong resident of Wayne County, until moving to Connersville in 2014. She was a member of Middleboro United Methodist Church, where she enjoyed singing in the choir and was a 15-year member of the Wayne County Council for Retarded Citizens. Clara loved making crafts and helping children, including babysitting.
Survivors include her sister, Diana (Thomas) Runyon of Richmond; brothers, Richard Irvin (Carolyn) Kaucher of Webster, Indiana, and Jeffrey Lynn Kaucher of Anderson, Indiana; uncle, Willard “Bill” Wissler of Richmond; nieces; nephews; cousins; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Kenneth Kaucher.
Visitation for Clara Alice Kaucher will be from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, December 30, 2018, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. Funeral service will follow at 5:00 p.m. Sunday, December 30, 2018, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home with Rev. Charlie Black officiating. Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 3, 2019, in Webster Cemetery.
