Richmond Police Department is seeking information about a person who reportedly fired three or four rounds from a car.

Second-shift patrol officers responded to the 300 block of North 13th Street on Tuesday, July 13, after receiving a call that reported shots being fired. Dispatchers received two shots fired calls.

Officers located a car in the area that had been shot, but no one immediately reported any injuries.

Witnesses reported one person was shooting from a car, firing three or four rounds.  No description of the shooter was given, said Capt. Curt Leverton in a news release.

Officers and investigators canvassed the scene to locate and process evidence. Investigators will review video obtained from the area.

A silver car, possibly a Honda, was reported to be in the area at the time of the shooting, Leverton said. The silver car was reported to have dark tinted windows with a black male driver and black female passenger, he said.

Anyone with information or who has video of this area is asked to call RPD at 765-983-7247.
