Clyde Duane Littrell, 70, of Greens Fork, died Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at Reid Hospital in Richmond. He was born August 13, 1947 in New Castle, a son of Clyde and Virginia (Clark) Littrell.
A 1968 graduate of Lewisville High School, Duane retired from Chrysler Corp. in New Castle following 33 years of service. He was a member of the New Castle Masonic Lodge #91. He loved to dance and have a good time, but his greatest hobby was his CB radios. He enjoyed talking to people from all over the world via CB radio.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Littrell of Greens Fork; his mother and step-father, Virginia and Marvin Hix of Mission, TX; step children, Steve Oakes of Losantville, Carol Lynn (Larry) Biggs of New Deal, TN, Thomas (Andrea) Oakes of Hagerstown, and David Oakes of Ft. Wayne; a sister, Myra (Vernon) Bulmer of Hagerstown,; nieces and nephew, Jeanna Elza, Janet Cain, Jessica Satterfield, and Jason Bulmer; an uncle, Gene Clark of New Castle.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clyde O. Littrell.
Masonic Services will be at 2:00 p.m, Friday, July 27, 2018 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle followed by funeral services. Visitation will be from 12-2 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
