Connie Sue Pendleton, 64, of Dublin, Indiana passed away Friday morning, May 25, 2018, at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis where she had been a patient since Monday.
The youngest of eleven children of Marlow and Nora Fox Lainhart, Connie was born on October 19, 1953, in Connersville. She was raised in Franklin County, Indiana until her parent’s death when she moved to Connersville and attended Fayette County Schools.
Connie worked at Brookville Casket Company before her employment at Visteon. Having a passion for antiques, Connie owned and operated The Old Trunk in Dublin. She also worked at Warm Glow Candle Outlet in Centerville and Hampton Inn of Richmond.
Survivors include a son, David Troy (Heather) Green of Connersville; two grandchildren, Trent Green of Connersville and Triston Stevens of Richmond; siblings, Strather Lainhart of Connersville, Lulia (Tom) Lanter of Glendale, Arizona, Lee (Claudette) Lainhart of Chandler, Arizona, Kenny (Bertha) Lainhart of Connersville, and Marlene (Terry) Dye of Liberty, Indiana; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Connie was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Dovie Lainhart, Ira Lainhart, Jean Field, Cindy Isaacs, Farley Lainhart, Marion Lainhart, and Pearl Powell; a nephew, Kent Lainhart; a niece, Kimberly Lutz, and long-time companion, Wayne Friend.
Family and friends may call from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 30, 2018, at Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home.
