The DAR National Old Trails Chapter oversees the Good Citizens Award competitions for Lincoln, Hagerstown, and Centerville school districts. The DAR Good Citizen program is open to all high school seniors enrolled in public or private schools. Winners demonstrate leadership, dependability, service, and patriotism in their home, school and community.

Seth Morris is from Lincoln Middle/High School. He is the son of Shane Morris and Sandra Lambert of Cambridge City, IN. His school and extra- curricular activities are: Tennis – 4 yrs., Academic All State, Rushville Invitational Champion 4 yrs., Scholar Athlete 2 yrs., 9th Most improved player, MVP 2017, and Sr. 2nd overall TEC. Basketball – 3 yrs., Jr. Scholar Athlete, Baseball – 3yrs., Soph. Scholar Athlete. Track – 1 yr, Jr. Academic All-State and Scholar Athlete, BPA – 4 yrs., Jr. Vice President, Sr. President, 2-time National Champion from any school-Spread Sheet Champion (1st & 2nd place). Student Council – Fr. Boys Representative, Class President 3 yrs. Spanish Club – 4 yrs., Jr. President, Sr. Secretary. Academic Teams – 2 yrs., Math & Science, Sr. Math Captain. His future plans are to attend Purdue University or Ohio State and pursue a major course of study in Engineering ( Biomedical, Aerospace, or Mechanical) and with a minor in business management. He would like to further education after obtaining a Bachelor’s degree to elevate to the CEO level.

Aubrey Madison Davis is from Centerville Sr. High School. She is the daughter of Mike and Alyssa Davis of Centerville, IN. Her school and extra-curricular activities are: Swimming & Diving team: 3 yrs., Varsity letter 3 yrs., MVP 3 yrs., Sectional champion and State Qualifier in back stroke, Recorder holder in 100 Backstroke, 200 Medley Relay, and 200 Freestyle Relay, Team Captain, Undefeated Dual Season, Top 3 and Top 6 finishes at Sectionals in the 100 Freestyle, 200 Individual Medley, and Various Relays. Waterworks Swim Club: 10 yr. member, Team Captain, 7th place in the 100 Backstroke, 9th place in the 200 Backstroke, 12th place in the 100 Freestyle at the Eastern Indiana Divisional level Championships, High Point Winner at Summer Dolphin Meet, Track & Field: 3 yrs., Varsity Letter 3 yrs., Best Hurdler Award, G0-Getter Award (Best Attitude Award), TEC Champion in 4×100 Relay, TEC Overall Team Champion 2016, Sectional Finalist in Long Jump, Student Government: 4 yrs., Jr. Vice President Sr. President. Her future plans are to attend Anderson University to pursue a major in Athletic Training with a minor in Nutrition. She would like to help build a swim team while at Anderson University. Upon graduation, pursue a career in high school or college athletics and earn the opportunity to work with a professional team. She also wants an opportunity to do mission work and travel the world.

Madison Brown is from Hagerstown Jr. Sr. High School. She is the daughter of Eddie and Kendra Brown of Economy, IN. Her school and extra-curricular are: Basketball: 4 yrs., Rick Mount Attitude Award, Tri-Eastern Conference All Academic Team, Best Defense, Best Three Throw Percentage, TEC Honorable Mention, Participated in the Midwest Girls Basketball Showcase, Participated in the North v. South All-Star Game, Participated in the 12th Annual PostYourT All-Star Game, TEC Watchlist. FFA: 3 yrs., President, Reporter, Chapter Scholar, Star Greenhand ward. Her future plans are to become a certified nursing assistant (CNA) and attend college. A the present time, she is learning and enjoying her honey bee hives that she started this year.
