RICHMOND, Ind. – David A. “Crockett” Ferguson, age 54, of Richmond, Indiana, died Friday, January 18, 2019, at his home.

Born October 24, 1964, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Robert and Edna Thorpe Ferguson, Crockett lived in Wayne County most of his life. He was a maintenance worker at the Wayne County Courts. Crockett loved fishing and carpentry work.

Survivors include his mother, Edna Peters of Centerville, Indiana; sisters, Vivian (Troy) Beach of Knightstown, Indiana, and Carol (Tommy) Borden and Patty (Rick) Slinker, both of Centerville; brothers, Brent (Teresa) Ferguson of Centerville and Robert (April) Ferguson of Richmond; nieces; nephews; cousins; and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.

Visitation for David A. “Crockett” Ferguson will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 22, 2019, at Mills Funeral Home, 405 East Main Street, Centerville. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 22, 2019, at Mills Funeral Home with Pastor Rodney Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.
