Obituaries - David H. Robling

David H. Robling, 81, went to be with the Lord on October 5, 2017. He was born on September 12, 1936 in Hudsonville, Indiana.

He was the son of Arthur and Ruth Robling (Evans). David attended Centerville Church of the Nazarene and was a resident of Dublin, Indiana where he enjoyed collecting eagle figurines, watching westerns on television, playing board games, and spending time with his family. He was a member in the United States Marines and later spent the majority of his life working for Wayne Works where he aided in the assembly of busses. After retirement, David worked for Swifty gas station.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Mildred Joan Robling of Dublin, Indiana, four daughters; Judith Jones of Florida, Bridgette Schaffner and Davena Wiel of California, and Kim Robling of Richmond, Indiana, one son; David Robling of Florida, a father-in-law; Edwin Tucker of Richmond, Indiana, a step daughter; Vicki Canon of Williamsburg, Indiana, her children; Ashley (Zakk) Rainer of Economy, Indiana, Amanda Canon of New Castle, Indiana, and Brandon Samuels of Williamsburg, IN, two sister-in-law’s; Cheryl Strickler of Richmond, Indiana and Francis Leinenger of Florida, a brother-in-law; Daryl (Wendy) Tucker of Texas, as well as thirteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren. David will be missed by many, but the memories of his love and goofy personality will remain in our hearts forever.

Funeral services will be held at Centerville Church of the Nazarene on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 11:00am, with Pastor Trevor Stanley officiating. Family and friends are welcome to visit one hour prior to the service. Flower arrangements may be sent to Community Family Funeral Home on Friday or to Centerville Church of the Nazarene Saturday morning.
