Deborah L. Cook, age 70, of Connersville, passed away on June 12, 2022, at Reid Healthcare in Richmond. She was born on February 21, 1952, in Indiana, Pennsylvania, one of three children of Dorothy Meyer Fleming and the late Robert Fleming, Sr.
On September 19, 1980, she married Ralph Cook. They were able to share 41 years together before her passing.
Debbie graduated from Connersville High School with the class of 1970. She was a member of Eastern Star Chapter #346. She worked as the Radio Dispatcher for the Indiana State Police for many years and was currently the IDACS Coordinator for the State of Indiana. She loved her job with the Indiana State Police, refusing to retire when she was eligible.
In her leisure time she enjoyed going to the beach and sunbathing. She loved spoiling her grandchildren, cats, listening to music and going to concerts. She and Ralph were personal friends with the Allman Brothers Band and followed them around while they were on tour.
Debbie will be thought of often by her husband; sons, Marc (Kelly) Koons, Matthew (Natasha) Koons, Brian Cook and Robert Cook; and daughter, Beth (Ralph) Neeley. Her memories will be cherished forever by her brother, Robert Fleming, Jr; sister Valerie Moore; grandchildren, Morgan, Matthew, Brandon, Dylan, Nicholas, Andrew (Christina), Megan, Samantha and Sean; great grandchildren, Landon, Mason, Mary, AraBelle, Lainey, Hunter and Eli; and nieces, Tera, Ashley, Allison, and Lauren.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Urban Winkler Funeral Home, 513 W 8th Street, Connersville, on Tuesday June 21, 2022, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm with the Eastern Star services conducted at 7:00 pm.
