Deborah M. Samms, age 66, of Richmond, Indiana, died Monday, April 12, 2021, at Reid Health.
Born March 31, 1955, in Hamilton, Ohio, to James Edward and Janet Marie Keiser Hart, Debbie was a life-long resident of Richmond. She graduated from Richmond High School in 1973 and earned a bachelor’s degree from Ball State University in 1977. Debbie worked as a bookkeeper at Hill Floral Products for many years.
Survivors include her children, Christopher (Lori) Samms of Cambridge City, Indiana, and Amanda Samms of Richmond; granddaughter, Zoey Samms; brother, Doug Hart of Cincinnati, Ohio; cousins; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation for Deborah M. Samms will be from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Saturday, April 17, 2021, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. Please plan to wear your own mask in the funeral home.
