CENTERVILLE, Ind. – Debra “Debbie” Locke, age 65, of Centerville, Indiana, died Sunday, March 1, 2020, at Reid Health.

Born July 13, 1954, in Richmond, Indiana, to Thomas and Ruby Jean Murphy Clark, Debbie was a life-long resident of this area. She was a 1972 graduate of Short High School in Liberty, Indiana. Debbie retired as a child support caseworker for Wayne County and had previously worked as a transcriptionist at Reid Health for 23 ½ years. She was a member of Centerville Christian Church. Debbie enjoyed reading, traveling, and watching Hallmark movies. She was loyal and supportive to all her family. Debbie loved her family dearly and enjoyed attending her grandkids’ events.

Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Gary Locke; children, Tom (Nikki) Locke of Richmond and Cheryl (Travis) Frazier of Centerville; grandchildren, Dominick and Maverick Locke, Devin and Conner Frazier, Kaitlyn Frazee, and Leighton Hudgins; great-granddaughter, McKinley Glenn; two nephews; and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Theresa Ruby.

Memorial visitation for Debra “Debbie” Locke will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 10, 2020, at Centerville Christian Church, 111 North Morton Avenue, Centerville. Memorial service will follow at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 10, 2020, at Centerville Christian Church with Pastor Wes Sewell officiating. Arrangements are being handled by Mills Funeral Home, 405 East Main Street, Centerville.
