Delores M. Neuman, 91, of Connersville, passed away early Saturday morning, November 30, 2019, at Heritage House of Connersville.

The only child of the late Lewis and Blanche Bouza Metzger, Delores was born in Flint, Michigan on November 12, 1928, and graduated from Northern High School in Flint with the class of 1946. Always having a love for music, she took piano and dance lessons as a child, and participated in the school choir in high school.

Following graduation, Delores was employed at an abstract company until she married William “Bill” J. Neuman in Flint, Michigan on January 10, 1948. Following their marriage, Delores joined Bill in the country to work hard on the farm cooking, cleaning, and gardening while raising eight children. Mr. Neuman passed away in January of 1981.

Delores is a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church, Daughters of Isabella, St. Anne’s Altar Society, and past member of the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary. In her leisure time, she enjoyed cooking, gardening, reading and traveling – especially to Germany.
