RICHMOND, Ind. – Dennis Paul Kidwell, age 55, of Richmond, Indiana, died unexpectedly Sunday, August 27, 2017, at his home. Born September 4, 1961, in Richmond, Indiana, to Richard and Mary Kay Moran Kidwell, Dennis was a life-long resident of Wayne County. He graduated from Centerville High School in 1979. Dennis was the former swim coach at Centerville High School and Centerville Junior High School. He loved music and played drums in his high school and local friends’ bands.
Survivors include his mother, Mary Kay Kidwell of Richmond; sister, Monica (Kerry) O’Brien of Indianapolis, Indiana; brothers, Daniel Kidwell of Marietta, Georgia, David (Angela) Kidwell of Cleveland, Ohio, and Derek Kidwell of Centerville, Indiana; nieces; nephews; cousins; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his son, Trey Michael Kidwell and his father.
Visitation for Dennis Paul Kidwell was from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, August 31, 2017, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. Funeral service was held at 10:00 a.m Friday, September 1, 2017, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home with Pastor Louie Burkhart officiating. Burial was in Crown Hill Cemetery.
