Edward Collins, age 76, passed away at his residence surrounded by his loving family on July 27, 2019. He was born March 29, 1943, to Gracie Gibson and George Collins in Richmond, Indiana.
Ed loved playing Bingo and listening and singing to music. He also loved being with his family especially his children and grandchildren.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife: Melissa Collins; children, four daughters: Ashley Cole (Tony), Tammie Gellinger, Tina Collins and Kayla Collins; four sons: Shannon Collins (Felicia), Shawn Collins (Myriah), Christopher Collins and Jeremy Collins; two step children: Charles Mahoney (Kayla) and Ashley Mahoney (Sonny); thirty-three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers: Daryl Gibson (Eula) and Ray Collins (Linda); three nieces; eight nephews; mother and father in law: Dean and Carolyn Conner; two sisters-in-law: Nicole Foor (Danny) and Deanna Obiedzinski (Tom); brother in law: Mike Conner (Lynda); and a host of other relatives and friends including longtime friends: Joe and Duana Carlin, Debbie Welch, Lisa Gilbert, April Crandall, Vicki Graw, Terri McKinney and Kenny Cupp.
He is preceded in death by his mother: Gracie Gibson; stepfather: Whitey Gibson; father: George Collins; grandparents; and two granddaughters: Sabrina Collins and Gracy Trent.
