Shelbyville – Edward M. Buhl, 58, of Shelbyville, Ind., passed away Sunday, December 16, in Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
He was born in Richmond, Ind., on February 25, 1960, the son of Edward L. and Janis Buhl-Macy.
He was a Machining Engineering Manager at Ryobi in Shelbyville where he had resided for the last nine years.
He enjoyed fishing and was an avid Colts football fan, attending games whenever possible.
He graduated from Lincoln High School in Cambridge City in 1978 and had attended the Milton United Methodist Church.
Ed is survived by his three children, Shannon Oliver and husband Scott of Paris, Ontario; Joshua Buhl and his wife Rachel of Miamisburg, OH; and Zachary Buhl of Dayton, OH; mother Janis Buhl-Macy and step-father Duane Macy, grandchildren Malachi Ledford, Jordan Buhl, Jarrod Buhl, and Colby Oliver. Also surviving are his sisters, Brenda McLane and husband Jim, and Patricia Seiple and husband RJ Seiple, all of Cambridge City; aunts, uncles and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, paternal grandparents Riley and Hartense Buhl, paternal grandparents Harry and Alice (Wildridge) Hunt.
Service will be on Wednesday, December 19, at Waskom Capitol Hill Chapel in Cambridge City, with burial at Riverside Cemetery in Cambridge City. The Rev. Max Milton will be officiating. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the start of service at noon.
