Elizabeth Ann “Betty” Pardo, age 80, of Richmond, Indiana, died Tuesday, April 3, 2018, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Born October 20, 1937, in Richmond, IN, to Russell and Letitia Statzer Reeves, Betty was a life-long resident of Wayne County. She was a 1955 graduate of Webster High School. Betty worked at Belden, retiring after 35 years of service. She was a life-long member of the Methodist faith. Betty enjoyed camping, cooking, sewing, gardening, and being a mom of four.
Survivors include her husband of 62 years, James “Jim” Pardo; children, Mindy (Benny) Kenworthy of Richmond, Lori Evans of Yorktown, VA, and Neil (Sherry) Pardo and Traci Linde, both of Richmond; grandchildren, Emily Kenworthy of Indianapolis, IN, Megan (Randy) Cate of Carmel, IN, Katie (Karl) Lofquist, Stephanie Evans, and Samantha Gibbons, all of VA, and Evan Linde and Christopher and Nickolas Pardo, all of Richmond; great-grandchildren, Claire, Sadie, Wesley, Illyana, Katelyn, Jameson, Harrison, and Madelyn; sisters, Donna (Bill) Pfenninger of Columbia City, IN, and Jackie Breitenbach of Richmond; nieces; nephews; cousins; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandsons, Sean and Eric Pardo; parents; and brother-in-law, Rick Breitenbach.
Visitation for Elizbeth Ann “Betty” Pardo will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, April 6, 2018, at Mills Funeral Home, 405 East Main Street, Centerville. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 7, 2018, at Mills Funeral Home with Rev. Judi Marshall officiating. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.
