Emma Delores Mendenhall, 56, passed away at her residence surrounded by her loving family on Monday, Nov. 26, 2018. She was born Nov. 30, 1961, to Harold and Betty Jenkins in Kokomo, Ind.

Emma had lived in Richmond most of her life. She loved to cook for her family and friends. She also loved to sew and made a beautiful family quilt for her late sister-in-law, Susie. Emma enjoyed making many outfits and blankets for her children and grandchildren. On the weekends, she relaxed listening to her husband play music; she loved watching him play the guitar.
After becoming ill, Emma retired from Walmart in 2010; but retirement didn’t stop her from getting out with her children and grandchildren.
