Eric Leroy Ellis, 53, of Connersville passed away November 16, 2020, at Reid Health, Richmond.
The son of Mary Ann Simrell Hogan, Eric was born in St. Louis, Missouri on February 8, 1967. At age 22, Eric moved to Indiana, living in London House with Residential CRF. Later, he lived in Ashley House followed by Grayson House.
Eric thrived in Indiana, growing and learning under the care of Residential CRF. He greatly loved the staff and they him. For a short period of time, Eric was employed with Carter Isaacs Enterprises in Connersville, but enjoyed working at Shares, Inc. in Rushville the most. While at Shares, Inc., Eric took many trips, often travelling to visit his parents and family. In his leisure time, Eric enjoyed swimming, dancing, singing, and listening to music.
Besides his mother, Mary Ann Hogan of Hemet, California, and his Residential CRF family, Eric is survived by nine step-siblings, Shaun Hogan, Ann Patriguin, Kyle Hogan, Drew Hogan, Paige Hogan, Brett Hogan, Darcy Koch, Breer Bellomy, and Josh Hogan.
