Evelyn L. Uhte 100 of Richmond died May 2, 2022, at Whitewater Commins in Liberty. She was born February 16, 1922, in Bradford, Ohio to Amos and Saddie Fryman George and lived here most of her life. She retired from the Indiana Unemployment Department and formerly worked for the Richmond Parks Department. She enjoyed animals, and playing cards and bingo.
Survivors include two sons Todd Uhte and Tim (Sarah Johnson) Uhte, three grandchildren Russ (Brandy), Stephanie, and Val, four great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday, May 5, 2022, at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home with Rev. Martin Holman officiating, with burial in Goshen Cemetery.
