Glen M. Johnson, age 72, died Sunday morning (February 4, 2018) at his residence near Lynn, Indiana.
He was born on February 9, 1945 in Cleveland, Ohio, to Glen M. Sr. and Genevieve Austin Johnson and had lived in this area moving here from Indianapolis about 20 years ago. Glen attended the University of Alabama. He worked as an electrician and served in the U.S. Army in Viet Nam where he was captured and held as a POW.
Survivors include his wife Georgia Johnson; son Glen Johnson III; daughter Lynan Stringfellow; step-sons Charles Clayton, Daniel Clayton and Terry Clayton; 10 grandchildren; several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews; brothers Tony Willis and Don Willis; sisters Sandy Berberick and Kathy Willis.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be at a later date in Crown Hill Cemetery in Centerville.
Arrangements are being handled by Riggle-Waltermann Mortuary in Richmond.
