Greely B. Dishman, 91, of New Castle passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at Henry Community Health. He was born December 19, 1927 in Monticello, KY, a son of the late Watt and Maudie Dishman.

Greely started working in the logging industry in Kentucky at a very young age. He worked for Perfect Circle and Chrysler Corporation in New Castle and then retired from the City of New Castle, where he was a heavy equipment operator. He also owned and operated his plumbing business for over 20 years. He enjoyed fishing and boating.

He is survived by his wife, Lois (Hatley) Dishman of New Castle; three sons, Leonard (Sheila) Dishman of Marion, David (Tina) Dishman of California, and Darin Dishman of Richmond; daughter, Connie Lenz of LaPorte; step son, Daryl (Gina) Thorne of Ocala, FL; grandchildren, J.D. Dishman, Phyton Lenz, Crystal Lenz, Michael Dishman, Blakely Tindale, Dalton Thorne, and Ally Davis; four great grandchildren, Halie, Ty, Katie, and Isabella; a brother, Powell Dishman of Monticello, KY; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Karen Branaugh; granddaughter, Jo Ellen Leitch; son in law, Scott Lenz; brothers, Leonard, Bruce, Paul, and Lloyd Dishman; sisters, Nell, Mossie, Bonnie, and Evelyn.
