Harriet Louise Clark, age 78, of Franklin, Indiana, died Thursday, October 14, 2021, at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis.
Harriet was born on November 9, 1942, in Richmond, Indiana, to Joe Claire and Mary Elizabeth “Betty” Preston Sherrow. She graduated from Whitewater High School in Whitewater, Indiana.
Survivors include her sons, Henry Thomas Clark (Penny) and John T. (Jennifer) Clark; grandchildren, Shailie Dawn, Elizabeth Louise (Evan Lattimore), Eliason Garrett, Madeline Roberta (Boone Smith), Chelsea Marian (Braylon Ellis), Lily Jakelyn, and several others, though not related, who called her “Mamaw”; great-grandchildren, Nora Lynn and Riley Mae Lattimore and Hollis James Ellis; brother, Carl Leroy Parrett; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold T. “Garr” Clark; parents; and siblings, Calvin Lee “Bud” Sherrow, Joyce Joan Clapp, Carol Dean Miller, Charles Eugene Parrett, and Brenda Parrett.
Burial for Harriet Louise Clark will be in Earlham Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond.
