Hazel M. Williams, Richmond, passed away at Reid Health on November 24, 2021. She was born October 17, 1941, to Harold and Letha McDaniel, in Richmond, Indiana.
Hazel was a lifelong resident of Wayne County. She was married to Gordon Dutch Williams, July 1, 1973. Hazel loved people, life and her family. She had worked at D&M and was retired from Marvil Factory.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, son: John Nolte, and daughter: Amie (Steve) Strothman; stepchildren: Bonnie Newby and Beth Williams; daughter-in-law’s: Pam Williams and Debbie Alvis; grandchildren: Chad and Kasey Nolte, Jessie and Kim Nolte, Brandy and Bill Wall, John and Megan Nolte, Casey and Steven Markley, Paige Strothman, Tammy and Pope Stevens, Sheila Clarkson, Amanda Clarkson, Valerie Clarkson and Brian Newby; sister: Julie Ramey; brother: Harold (Butch) and Renee McDaniel; great grandchildren: Dalton, Kaylie and Bailey Wall, Carley and Ava Nolte, Seth and Sammy Nolte, Ayveri Nolte, Alaina, Natalie and Bryson Markley. She will also be missed by friends: Marla Jansing and Jackie Lopresto.
Besides her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by sons: Todd Rod Nolte and Tommy Carpenter; stepson: Bill Williams; stepdaughter: Brenda Williams; daughter-in-law: Lora Nolte; granddaughter: Katie Williams; niece: Tracey Gray and great nephew: Adam McDaniel
Funeral services will be held at Community Family Funeral Home on Monday, November 29, 2021, at 12:00 PM, with Pastor Brett Karanovich of Christ United and Pastor Joe Dunham of Recovery Church, officiating. Family and friends may visit the funeral home two hours prior to the service. Burial will follow at Lutherania Cemetery.
