Hazel Ridge, 88, of Connersville, passed away peacefully Sunday, April 10, 2022 at Henry Community Health, New Castle where she was under hospice care.
She was born December 6, 1933 in Morris, Indiana, the daughter of Edward and Bertha Hahn.
On January 23, 1955, she was married in Connersville to Dwight Albert Ridge. Mr. Ridge passed away February 21, 2020.
For over 50 years, Hazel cleaned houses and local business offices. She also enjoyed doing yardwork.
She was hardworking, always taking care of others. Hazel was a caring wife, mother, and grandmother who adored her great-grandchildren that brought so much joy into her life.
She was an avid Elvis fan and enjoyed many trips to Graceland with her daughter.
Survivors include her daughter, Debi (Rick) Hay; three granddaughters, Summer (Blake) Rosenberger, Heather Hay, and Jessica Ridge; great grandchildren, Londyn and Ledger Rosenberger; and several nieces and nephews.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Dwight Albert Ridge; her son, Ray Ridge; two sisters, Lorretta Lewis and Ruth Morgason; a half-sister, Louise Dunn; two brothers, Lloyd Hahn and Pete Hahn; and a half-brother, John Wolferest.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 16, 2022 at Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home where friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Reverend Stan Howard will officiate. Burial will follow at Dale Cemetery.
