Helen Duncil, 89, of Connersville, Indiana, went to be with her Lord on January 2, 2019 at Reid Health in Richmond, Indiana.

She was born on July 21, 1929 in Jackson County, Kentucky to Jess and Maud Isaacs Maggard – both who preceded her in death.

She married the love of her life – George Duncil, Jr. – on May 30, 1946 in McKee, Kentucky. He passed away on July 19, 2000.

She was a very dedicated Christian woman and had been a faithful member of the Full Gospel Holiness Church in Connersville, Indiana for over 68 years. She loved going to church and being with her church family.

She had worked at Philco Ford for 1 ½ years. She enjoyed gardening, canning, cooking, and camping. She also loved going to the McDonald’s Restaurant and visiting with friends there.

She was a very loving, caring, and patient mother to her children. They will greatly miss her. They are Cheryl Ann and Jack Isaacs of Connersville, Indiana; William Keith and Rhonda Duncil of Connersville, Indiana and Larry Jay and Wilma Duncil of Cambridge City, Indiana.

She dearly loved her grandchildren and their families – Mark and Angie Isaacs, Billy and Angela Duncil, and Steve and Crystal Duncil – all of Connersville, Indiana, and April and Mikel Talbot of Centerville, Indiana, Reverend Jon and Heidi Isaacs of Elba, Alabama, and Sheryl (Brett) Oakerson of Richmond, Indiana; 14 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, and many, many friends.

She will also be missed by her very special friend and roommate at Caroleton Manor and her family – Phyllis McQueen.
Besides her parents, she was also reunited in Heaven with her 3 sisters – Clista Steele, Zella Mae Worrell, and Ruby Brewer and her 2 brothers – Edward P. Maggard and Raymond Maggard.

Friends and family may visit on Saturday, January 5, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 2:00 p.m. at the Full Gospel Holiness Church, located at 1109 West 10th Street, Connersville, Indiana. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. at the church. Her grandson – Reverend Jon Isaacs, her nephew – Reverend Ronnie Steele, and her Pastor – Reverend Jeff Hensley – will officiate the service. Burial will follow at Dale Cemetery.
