DUBLIN, Ind. – Jack W. Study, age 89, of Dublin, Indiana, died Monday, November 19, 2018, at Arbor Trace Exceptional Senior Living.

Born March 22, 1929, in Abington, Indiana, to Orville Lester and Nova Jane Roller Study, Jack was a lifelong resident of Wayne County. He was a 1949 graduate of Centerville High School. Jack served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
He was a farmer and truck driver. Jack was a member of Centerville Christian Church. He enjoyed NASCAR and basketball.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Ruth Louise Sieb Study; children, Chuck and Jennifer; sisters, Carrol (Russell) Fegan of Cambridge City, Indiana, and Dorothy Gray of Madison, Indiana; children by marriage, Cathleen (Steven) Becker of Mooreland, Indiana, Clifford (Laura) Study of Centerville, Indiana, David (Kimberlee) Study of South Carolina, and Debra (John) Winchester of Florida; son-in-law, Warren Ward of Greenfield, Indiana; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; cousins; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Marjorie Dillon; brothers, Harold, Howard, Robert, Richard, and Russell Study; and daughter by marriage, Elizabeth Ann “Lybbe” Ward.
Graveside service for Jack W. Study will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 23, 2018, at Crown Hill Cemetery with military honors provided by the Wayne County Honor Guard. Arrangements are being handled by Mills Funeral Home, 405 East Main Street, Centerville.
