Jacqueline “Jackie” Marie Kinsinger, 85, of New Castle passed away early Monday morning, January 18, 2021 at Stonebrooke in New Castle. She was born March 13, 1935 in New Castle, Indiana, a daughter of the late Kenneth and Gaynell (Thomas) Griffin.

She was a member of New Castle Friends Church for several years. Jackie had been employed at the New Castle State Hospital for 15 years and The Courier Times for 10 years. She enjoyed spending her winters in Bradenton, Florida for the past 30 years and traveling all over the world.

Survivors include her husband of 35 years, James Kinsinger; children, Karen Chance of New Zealand, Connie Bainbridge of New Castle and William Kelly Thomas of Greensburg; grandchildren, Autumn Thomas of California, Allison Bainbridge of New Castle and Sam Rader of Muncie; son-in-law, Larry Rader; brother, James Griffin (Pat) Pace of Florida; niece, Kimberly (Roddy) Sanders of Gardo, Alabama and nephew, Kenny Griffin of Texas.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy Rader.

A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 21, 2021 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Pastor Rick Schoeff officiating. Inurnment will follow at South Mound Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Thursday prior to the service.
