Obituaries - James Jimmy Estel Marcum

CONNERSVILLE, Ind. – James “Jimmy” Estel Marcum, 65, of Connersville went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, August 27, 2017 at his residence. He was born June 11, 1952 in Connersville, one of nine children of Estel and Joyce Feeback Marcum. For many years, he was a roofing contractor for Gentry Roofing. He had also worked part-time on small construction and tree trimming jobs.
An outdoor enthusiast, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle, going boating and working in his vegetable garden.

Survivors include his life companion for over twenty years, Deborah Kelley; a daughter, Ashley Kelley, of Dayton, OH; two grandchildren, Gage Needham and Hunter Needham, both of Dayton, OH; two brothers, Robert (Linda) Marcum, of College Corner, OH and Gary (Renee) Marcum, of Hagerstown, IN; six sisters, Cathy Spicer, of Pershing, IN, Sharon (Leon) Fisher, of Connersville, Regina (Joseph) Baxter, of Surgoinsville TN, Amy Marcum, of Connersville, Darlene Reece, of Connersville and Marlene (Jason) Molar, of Cambridge City, IN. Survivors also include an aunt and uncle Frankie and Homer Littleton, aunt, Bertha Marcum and special cousin, Vicki Edwards, of Connersville. He is blessed also with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his parents, uncles, Lester Marcum Paul Parson, Art Marcum, Charlie Marcum and wife, Marty.

Funeral services were conducted at 1 PM, Thursday, August 31, 2017 at Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home with Pastor Chris Lovett officiating. Burial following cremation will be in Laurel North Cemetery. Friends called at the funeral home from 11 AM until 1 PM on Thursday and anytime online at www.millermosterrobbins.com.
