James L. Herbolt II, age 27, of Richmond, Indiana, died Friday, October 13, 2017. Born June 30, 1990, in Fort Thomas, Kentucky, James was a life-long resident of Richmond. He was a 2010 graduate of Centerville High School. James worked as a sales representative at Watson’s Pool. He enjoyed helping people whether he knew them or not. James saw the good in everyone and would give from his heart. He had a kind, gentle, and loving heart and these are the qualities we will continue to remember. Survivors include his father and mother, James Sr. and Norma Herbolt; sister, Tina (Jordan) Burdette; nieces, Taylor Kinnison and Gabriella Burdette; grandmother, Lois Herbolt; grandmother and grandfather, Felton and Wanda Underwood; aunts, Zanetta Stephens, Rita and Darlene Boggs, and Teresa, Tonia, and Gail Underwood; uncles, Ron, Roger, and Gary Herbolt, Fred Boggs, and Eugene Underwood; cousins, Jacob Church and Chaun Boggs; great-aunt, Marva Embry; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins; other extended family; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his birth mother, Tammy Mardis Herbolt and grandfather, Frank Herbolt.
Memorial gathering for James L. Herbolt II will be from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Saturday, October 21, 2017, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond.
