RICHMOND, Ind. – James William Ringley, age 66, of Richmond, Indiana, died Saturday, June 29, 2019, at Rosebud Village.

Born September 21, 1952, in Livingston, Tennessee, to Casper and Thelma Beaty Ringley, James was a graduate of York High School in Jamestown, Tennessee. He moved to Richmond 23 years ago from Brookville, Indiana. James was a security guard for many years at BorgWarner. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his wife of over 25 years, Juanita I. Farrell Ringley; daughter, Tanya Elliott of Danville, Kentucky; son, Steven Ringley of New Castle, Indiana; grandchildren, Cody, Coleby, and Madison Elliott, all of Indiana, and Haley Ringley of New Paris, Ohio; sister, Nyoka (Luther) King of Jamestown, Tennessee; brothers, Ray Ringley of Kingman, Arizona, and Johnie Ringley of Jamestown, Tennessee; sisters-in-law, Weta Ringley and Martha Ringley, both of Arlington, Tennessee; nieces; nephews; cousins; and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Junior, Shelley, and Willard Ringley; and sister-in-law, Omie Ringley.

Interment for James William Ringley will be held by the family at a later date in Beaty Cemetery in Jamestown, Tennessee. Arrangements are being handled by Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond.
