Janet “Janny” Sue Keal, 65, passed away Friday evening, August 12, 2022 at her home in Brownsville.

One of two daughters of Kenneth Y. and Betty J. Sampson Morford, Janny was born in Connersville on February 11, 1957 and graduated from Connersville High School with the class of 1975.

On July 1, 1989, she married Rodger Keal in Connersville. Mr. Keal survives.

Continuing the family business, Janny owned and operated Connersville’s Pizza Kings which has been owned by her family since its opening in 1964. Today, it is in the hands of the third generation. What a great family legacy!

Janny was a member of St. Bridget of Ireland in Liberty, Indiana, and she was very adamant about her grandchildren attending church and St. Gabriel School. She was very crafty, making rugs, baskets, and lap quilting.

Besides her husband of 33 years, Rodger Keal, survivors include two sons, Justin (Meghan) Keal and Andy (Lindsey) Keal, all of Connersville; five grandchildren, Ian, Abigail, Chloe, Rylie, and Beckett; and a sister, Judy (Mike) Selke of Brownsville.
She was preceded in death by her parents.

Family and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial celebrated by Reverend Dustin Boehm at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, August 20, 2022 in St. Gabriel Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Springersville Cemetery. Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
