DUBLIN- Janice Rose Helms, 72, passed away Monday afternoon November 27, 2017 at Wayne Hospital, Hospice Care in Greenville, Ohio.

A daughter of the late Freeman and Gladys (Hunter) Wassom, Janice was born in Algood, Tennessee, on May 19, 1945. Janice grew up in the Dublin community and graduated from Lincoln High School in Cambridge City with the class of 1963. A homemaker, Janice had lived in Centerville and Richmond before moving to Ohio in 2011. She attended the North Ridge Wesleyan Church in Dayton, Ohio.

Janice was preceded in death by her husband , Ronald Helms of Centerville.

Survivors include, 3 daughters, Angela Holmes of Ansonia, OH, Lisa (Scott) Ritz of Greenville, OH and Ashlynn Helms of Ansonia, OH; 4 grandchildren, Kaylee and Ethan Holmes, Britley Ritz and Kacey (Elliott) Littlefield; 1 great granddaughter, Layla; 2 siblings, Phyllis (Max) Dick and Cheryl Toschlog; 1 half-sister, Beatrice Wassom; nieces and nephews.

Following cremation the family will receive friends from 1p.m. until the start of the Memorial Service at 3 p.m. on Tuesday December 12, 2017 at the Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Dublin.
