Jennifer Frye, of Richmond, passed away on April 24, 2022. She was born July 31, 1952  in Richmond, Indiana to the late Sanford and Rose Lynch.

Jennifer was a graduate of Richmond Senior High School. She was a volunteer for several organizations, including Townsend Center where she sat on the board. She was employed by Sear & Roebuck, where she developed her passion for decorating. She held the position of manager at Olan Mills Studio for a number of years. Jennifer left Olan Mills to realize their dream of opening a family business.

Jennifer’s proudest titles was that of wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend! She always had a bed, meal and open arms for everyone near and far and that is what we will miss most about her.

She leaves to cherish in her memory her loving husband of 51 years John W. Frye Sr.; her loving children Faith Y. Lyles (Andre) of Indianapolis, Indiana, Johnathan W Frye Jr. (Brenda) of Richmond, Indiana; grandchildren include Elgin (Chance) Frye (Shea), Kerrigan D. Allen, Jordan A. Frye and Jaden W. Frye; sisters Stacha Lynch (Robert) of Richmond, Brenda Lynch of Minnesota; brother Arthur R. Lynch of Arizona; brothers-in-law Kenny Frye of Richmond, Marcus Weaver (Quan) of Virginia; special cousins Judy Brooks, Lucille Bowen, Brenda Williams, Etta Gee, Rene Adams, LaVera Patterson and may special friends that were close to her heart. She also leaves a host of several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Jennifer was preceded in death by her parents Sanford and Rose Lunch, two brothers Jerry and Joseph Lynch, brother-n-law Tommy Weaver, sisters-in-law Brenda Marshall and Sylvia Frye.

The family would like to express their special thanks to everyone that has reached out and shown their love to our family through this difficult time, also special thanks to Tracy D. Lewis and Community Family Funeral Home.

Calling hours will be held at Community Family Funeral Home, on Friday April 29, 2022 from 1pm-3pm. There will not be a service to follow.
