Jill A. Dearing, age 56, of Richmond, Indiana, died Sunday, September 12, 2021, at Reid Health.
Born December 28, 1964, in Richmond, Indiana, to Phillip A. and Gale Stigleman Dearing, Jill was a life-long resident of this community. She graduated from Centerville High School. Jill was employed at the AWS/Benchmark Human Services workshop and participated in Wayne County, Indiana Special Olympics. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Richmond. Jill enjoyed bowling, playing cornhole, coloring, and listening to all kinds of music.
Survivors include her father; sister, Michele Coons of Terre Haute, Indiana; nieces, Lauren Coons and Lindsey (Tylor) Goldman, both of Terre Haute; three great-nephews, Reese, Xaviar, and Donovan; aunts; uncles; cousins; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
Visitation for Jill A. Dearing will be from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. Thursday, September 16, 2021, at First Baptist Church, 1601 South A Street, Richmond. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, September 16, 2021, at First Baptist Church with Rev. Phillip Hodgkin officiating. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are being handled by Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond.
