Jimmy L. McLemore, age 73, of Richmond, Indiana, died Thursday, September 9, 2021, at home surrounded by his family.
Born November 30, 1947, in Richmond, Indiana, to Rufus and Ruth McLemore, Jimmy was a life-long resident of this community. He retired as a machinist from Dana Corporation/Perfect Circle after 25 years of service. Jimmy enjoyed fishing, watching sports, and going to casinos, where he never left without winning money. Jimmy also loved to talk, and talk, and talk to his family and friends.
Survivors include his son, Ken L. (Carolyn) Kuhn of Richmond; daughter-in-law, Janet Kuhn of Richmond; grandchildren, Krissy (Brad) Boswell and Kenny, Megan, and Brian Kuhn; great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Charlie Tuttle; and nieces, Jody and Patty.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Patricia Ann Davis McLemore, who died October 5, 2007; son, Ralph E. Kuhn Jr.; parents; sister, Linda McLemore Tuttle; and brother, Bobby McLemore.
A graveside service for Jimmy L. McLemore will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 13, 2021, at Earlham Cemetery, 1101 National Road West, Richmond. Arrangements are being handled by Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond.
