John L. Bryant, 95, of Richmond died June 7, 2021, at Reid Health. He was born June 25, 1925, in Richmond to Solomon and Mary Martin Bryant and lived here all his life. He formerly worked at Specialty Record Shop, Second National Bank (US Bank), and Open Arms Ministry. John was a Navy veteran of World War Two.
John is survived by many nieces and nephews. He was a member of Oak Park Church. He dearly loved his community and the people he touched during his life, serving a daily ministry devoted to Jesus Christ and our Lord. John volunteered at several organizations working to help those in need, always with an encouraging spirit.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, June 12, 2021, at Oak Park Church with Rev Kevin Arthur officiating. Burial will be in Earlham Cemetery with military honors. Friends may call Saturday from 10:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Oak Park Church 1920 Chester Blvd. Richmond, Indiana 47374.
